How much does a dynamic QR code cost compared to other services?
OwnQR charges US$15 one-time for an editable dynamic QR code. Most competitors charge $5-50 per month — that is $60-600 per year for the same functionality. Over 5 years, a single OwnQR code costs $15 total while subscription services cost $300-3,000. There are no renewal fees on the one-time plan.
What is included in the $15 lifetime plan?
One dynamic QR code with unlimited URL changes, real-time scan analytics (location, device, time), custom colors and frames, SVG and PNG downloads, with no recurring subscription. There are no recurring charges. Free dynamic (redirect) QR codes are also available with no account required — and because free codes use the same redirect infrastructure, you can print one now and upgrade the same code to full editing later, with no reprint.
Can I change the destination URL after purchasing?
Yes, unlimited times. Log into your OwnQR dashboard, enter the new URL, and save. The change takes effect immediately — the printed QR code image stays the same but redirects to the new destination. This is useful for swapping a shop's Instagram bio link to a Google Review form, updating a freelancer's booking page after switching software, or any content that changes over time.
Can I get a refund?
Digital purchases are generally final once the paid feature is delivered or activated. Limited exceptions may apply for duplicate charges, verified non-delivery, verified unauthorized transactions, an OwnQR-caused core service failure we cannot remedy, permanent discontinuation of the applicable service within 30 days, or rights required by applicable law. How many dynamic QR codes can I create?
Each $15 payment covers one dynamic QR code. You can purchase as many as you need — there is no bundle requirement or minimum order. Free dynamic (redirect) QR codes are unlimited and require no account or payment; the $15 upgrade unlocks destination editing and scan analytics on the same code.
Can I make a digital business card with OwnQR?
Yes. For $15 once you get a hosted digital business card page with its own QR code. Anyone who scans sees your details and can save your contact with one tap, and with an Editable plan, you can update the destination after purchase.
